European Social Survey, Round 9, Romania

The European Social Survey studies attitudes, beliefs and behaviour across European societies. This codebook describes the supplied Romanian pilot data for Round 9: 1,846 respondents and 343 variables. Alongside recurring questions on trust, politics, wellbeing, identity, religion, values and socio-demographic circumstances, the round includes modules on the timing of life and on justice and fairness. The timing-of-life module partly repeats Round 3. The local data contain country-specific coding and additional geographical and weighting fields; their identity is retained in this enriched codebook.
